As a leading organization, we provide essential services and advocate for the protection of vulnerable communities' rights, addressing human suffering and delivering essential services to those affected.
Al-Khayr has become a leading actor in responding to humanitarian emergencies in Somalia — expanding from targeting a single district to covering five South Central regions, including Banadir, Bay, Bakool, Gedo, Lower Juba, Middle Juba, Middle Shabelle, Lower Shabelle, Mudug, and Galgaduud.
We collaborate with development partners to implement programs in WASH, livelihoods, health services, education, and community capacity building — always with a special focus on the most vulnerable, regardless of politics, clan, sex, or ability to pay.
