Founded in 2021 by Somali intellectuals and philanthropists who understood these communities from the inside.
Al-Khayr Charity & Relief grew rapidly from a single district to covering South Central Somalia, becoming a leading actor in emergency response, WASH, health, education, food security, and community capacity building.
We operate through a three-tier structure — Main, Regional, and District Offices — ensuring accountability and direct community-level impact across Banadir, Bay, Bakool, Gedo, Mudug, Galgaduud, Jubbuland, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Lower Juba, and Middle Shabelle.
